About these terms
This website is operated by Haystack Ltd, a company registered in Malta with company number C93790 and VAT number MT27064714, whose registered office is at 103, Archbishop Street, Valletta, Malta and whose office is at SOHO Savoy Gardens, Triq D’Argens, Gżira, Malta (“Haystack”, “we”, “us”). By using it you agree to these terms. If you engage us for consultancy, software development, AI and automation or funding advisory work, the proposal or statement of work we both sign sets out the scope, fees and conditions of that engagement, and it takes priority over these terms if they differ.

Using our website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not try to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with how it works, introduce malicious code, send automated or bulk submissions through our forms or booking system, or copy large parts of it by automated means.

Enquiries and discovery calls
Our discovery calls are free and do not commit you to anything. Please give accurate details when you contact us or book a call. We may reschedule or decline a booking, for example if it appears to be spam, and we will let you know if we do.

Content and intellectual property
The content of this website, including text, graphics, illustrations, logos and code, belongs to Haystack or is used with permission. You may share links to our pages and quote short extracts with a clear credit to Haystack. Any other use needs our written permission.
Our articles, guides and checklists are general information to help you think through a topic. They are not legal, tax, financial or other professional advice, and you should take specific advice before acting on them.

Projects and deliverables
For client projects, the signed proposal or statement of work applies. Unless it says otherwise:
- ownership of the work we create specifically for you passes to you once it has been paid for in full;
- tools, libraries, frameworks and expertise we developed before the project, or reuse across projects, remain ours, and you receive a non-exclusive licence to use them as part of what we deliver;
- each side keeps the other’s confidential information confidential;
- invoices are payable within the period stated on them, and questions about them go to accounts@haystack.mt;
- where we process personal data for you, we do so under a data processing agreement.

We link to other websites, such as sources we cite in our articles. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

We work to keep this website accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees that it will always be complete, current or free of interruptions. Information about products, grants and regulations can change, so please check with us before relying on it.
