01
Our commitment
Haystack Ltd wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA and we treat accessibility problems as bugs to fix, not features to add later.
02
What we have done
- The site can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields.
- Pages use a clear heading structure, so screen reader users can move around easily.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are explained in text.
- If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the site’s animations are switched off or simplified.
- Text and interface colours are chosen for contrast against their backgrounds.
03
Known limitations
- Some animated illustrations are decorative. Each has a short text description, but it does not describe every detail of the animation.
- Some older images and documents may not yet have full text descriptions. We are working through them.
